About The Position

Zions Bancorporation’s Capital Markets Analyst Program offers a unique 2-year experience within a rapidly growing platform and team. The program is designed to maximize Analysts’ potential by providing foundational knowledge, skills, and experiences that will last a professional lifetime. Analysts will immediately take an active role within their assigned team, working alongside seasoned banking professionals to meet client needs. This specific role is within Real Estate Capital Markets (RECM), which specializes in direct non-recourse financing solutions for stabilized commercial properties nationwide. RECM originates senior mortgages for private-label securitizations collateralized by various commercial real estate property types. The analyst will support senior members through the entire transaction lifecycle, including origination, credit, underwriting, legal due diligence, structuring, securitization, and capital markets.

Requirements

Completed BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, and/or related majors, with a scheduled graduation prior to the annual June 7th start date
Overall GPA of 3.5 or above
Strong interest in finance and capital markets
High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
Proven analytical ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable working with peers at all levels, ranging from fellow analysts through Managing Directors
Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program

Responsibilities

Support senior members through the entire transaction lifecycle, including origination, credit, underwriting, legal due diligence, structuring, securitization and capital markets.
