Chicago Office - Real Estate Associate
About The Position
Winston Taylor LLP is seeking a real estate associate with at least three years of experience to join our growing Chicago Real Estate Practice. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience representing real estate owners, developers, sponsors and investment managers in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, with a particular focus on joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, and sponsor-side financing transactions. Candidates should have strong drafting and negotiation skills, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to manage substantial components of transactions. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who takes ownership of assignments, communicates effectively and works collaboratively across deal teams and practice areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate who is excited to assume meaningful responsibility, work directly with experienced partners and sophisticated clients, and contribute to the continued growth of a strong and expanding real estate practice. Prior large law firm experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should have a strong academic background and must be admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Illinois Bar. Requirements
