About The Position

Orrick’s nationally recognized Real Estate group is seeking a talented associate with 2-3 years of real estate experience to join their dynamic team. In this role, the associate will advise on sophisticated real estate capital markets and private equity transactions, including asset acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financings, development projects, distressed debt investments, and commercial leasing matters. The associate will also have the opportunity to work closely with Orrick's top-rated public finance, energy and infrastructure and restructuring teams. As part of the team, the associate will counsel clients through changing market cycles, helping them seize new opportunities and effectively mitigate risks. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and innovative practice that handles complex and high-profile real estate matters.

Requirements

Two to three years of relevant law firm experience.
Highly motivated and have superior client service skills.
Must be a member of the Bar in a U.S. State and satisfy any requirements of the Orrick office’s jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

Advise on sophisticated real estate capital markets and private equity transactions, including asset acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financings, development projects, distressed debt investments, and commercial leasing matters.
Work closely with public finance, energy and infrastructure and restructuring teams.
Counsel clients through changing market cycles, helping them seize new opportunities and effectively mitigate risks.
