Requirements
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser certification.
- Possession of an active motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities
- Property Research: Review ownership records, deed descriptions, and zoning information to understand property details
- Field Evaluation: Visit properties to inspect conditions, interview owners, and gather essential information
- Valuation Methods: Determine appropriate appraisal approaches and analyze comparable sales and market trends
- Report Preparation: Develop complete appraisal reports, update valuations, and provide documentation for hearings
- Legal Support: Testify at hearings, assist staff attorneys and supply information for claim settlements
- Technical Guidance: Support project teams by reviewing appraisals and advising on policy compliance
