About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Appraiser Assistant to support a busy commercial real estate appraisal practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate, market analysis, property valuation, and appraisal report preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, comfortable conducting research and phone outreach, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Research subject property history using public records and online databases.
• Analyze local market trends and collect relevant market data.
• Gather and organize information needed for appraisal assignments.
• Conduct phone outreach to property owners, managers, and leasing agents to obtain leasing and market information.
• Verify rental, occupancy, and property data.
• Enter and maintain comparable property information in internal databases.
• Assist with assembling and formatting appraisal reports for client delivery.
• Insert addenda, exhibits, maps, photos, and PDF pages into reports.
• Review reports for formatting consistency, page breaks, and completeness.
• Maintain organized appraisal, client, and administrative files.
• Update and verify subject property and comparable property databases.
• Support the appraiser with general administrative and project-related tasks.
