Real Estate Analyst
About The Position
We’re looking for a Real Estate Analyst to help drive TJX Canada’s store network growth and expand market share through impactful, data-driven insights. In this role, you’ll demonstrate advanced analytics, forecasting, and competitive assessments to influence site selection and uncover new market opportunities. You’ll also play a key part in shaping innovative analytical tools and workflows, improving how we make strategic decisions. Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in market analysis, retail analytics, or real estate‑related analysis preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong stakeholder alignment skills.
- Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to recommend optimal site locations based on demographics, retail strength, and traffic patterns.
- Forecasts store sales performance across all banners and formats; collaborates with Finance on site modeling and reporting.
- Works closely with the Real Estate Market Manager to align strategic priorities, implement market analysis initiatives, and delivers insights that drive business objectives and long-term growth.
- Develops and delivers comprehensive analysis and presentation materials for quarterly Real Estate Committee (REC) meetings; supports with and participates in annual strategy sessions.
