About The Position

HRM Concrete is seeking a reliable and skilled Ready Mix Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment and load aggregate materials into concrete mixing trucks. The role involves accurately loading materials to batch plant specifications, inspecting and maintaining equipment, keeping records, coordinating with plant personnel and drivers, and following safety regulations. The operator may also assist with other plant operations as needed. The position is based in Shreveport, Louisiana, and may require flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.

• Knowledge of concrete production and aggregate materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to load aggregate materials into ready mix trucks.
• Ensure proper quantities of materials are loaded according to batch plant specifications.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of materials loaded and inventory levels.
• Communicate with plant personnel and drivers to coordinate loading schedules.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Assist with other plant operations as needed.
