About The Position

CEMEX is seeking a responsible, skilled Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate a concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential job sites. The work involves navigating varied conditions, including uneven terrain, and may require attaching and handling extension chutes weighing 30 to 50 pounds. Drivers are expected to follow safety requirements, deliver concrete promptly, maintain their trucks, and coordinate with dispatch and coworkers while providing professional customer service.

The role is performed in diverse settings, including outdoor industrial operations, and requires wearing protective equipment and following safety protocols. Daily physical activities include frequent walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and climbing.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
• Qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Acceptable CSA and MVR record.
• No DUI/DWI in the last five years and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in the construction and transportation industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and guidance.

Responsibilities
