About The Position

Cemex is seeking a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate a concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential job sites. The role involves navigating varied conditions, including uneven terrain, and may require handling and attaching extension chutes weighing 30 to 50 pounds. The driver is expected to maintain a safe, professional, and customer-focused approach while coordinating with dispatch and other team members.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
Qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Acceptable CSA and MVR records.
No DUI/DWI in the last five years and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and guidance.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
Knowledge of traffic routes.
Basic truck maintenance skills.
