This part-time position supports a federally funded research study by delivering targeted reading and behavioral support to second- and third-grade students in a small group setting. The role calls for approximately 20 hours per week during normal school hours, with occasional travel between school sites depending on assignment. Mileage to and from school sites is reimbursed at the federal government standard mileage rate. Reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in helping young learners grow are essential to success in this role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking hands-on experience with working directly with elementary-age students, delivering structured reading and behavioral interventions, and contributing to meaningful, data-driven educational research. This position is funded by a grant through 08/31/2029, and there is no guarantee of a position after that date. This position is contingent upon those grant funds being appropriated. The interventionist will report directly to the research project coordinator and principal investigator and will receive ongoing mentorship and supervision throughout the duration of the project. Regular one-on-one meetings will be scheduled to support professional development.
