About The Position
The University of Washington Information School is recruiting graduate students for the LIS 549 hourly Reader/Grader position. Qualifications are based on prior course work, skill level, experience, and schedule availability. LIS 549 is a Beginning Web Development course that is taught online asynchronously. This position will work a maximum of 10 hours per week.
Requirements
- Master's Student
- Applicants must be located in the United States for the duration of the appointment.
- Graduate students enrolled in a minimum of 5 credits at the University of Washington Seattle as of Autumn 2026
- Strong interest and ability to work with students having diverse skill levels.
- Prior completion of LIS 549 with strong performance or demonstrated proficiency in the course content.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and grade exams and papers
- Maintain grading records
- Manage, and respond to course related email
- Attend instructor/employee meetings
- Attend lectures and office hours
- Review literature
