About The Position

The React JS Developer role is in Infosys’s Communications, Media, and Technology unit, which supports digital transformation for clients in telecommunications, media, and technology. In the assigned role of Technology Consultant 2, the developer contributes across the software development life cycle, from requirements and design discussions through coding, testing, deployment support, and production issue resolution.

The position focuses on building scalable, high-performance enterprise web applications using React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, Micro Frontend architecture, and REST API integration, with experience in the Telecom OSS domain. The developer also helps establish reusable UI components and frontend standards, improve application quality and performance, and collaborate with architects, analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams. The role may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Infosys does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in UI development and enterprise web application design.
• Strong expertise in React JS and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Working experience with React JS, Node JS, Micro Frontend architecture, TypeScript, REST API integration, and Telecom OSS applications.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Experience implementing Micro Frontend architecture for large-scale enterprise solutions.
• Experience in the Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) domain.
• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Experience with backend integration using Node JS and RESTful APIs.
• Experience defining reusable UI components, design systems, and frontend architecture standards.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, and other GenAI tools to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native application deployment.
• Experience collaborating with architects, business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to independently analyze requirements, propose solutions, and guide development teams.
• Experience in code reviews, technical mentoring, and enforcing development best practices.
• Understanding of web application security, accessibility, and performance optimization techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation, following provided guidance.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support transitions to new software applications.
• Help resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for the knowledge base and related projects.
• Handle software development life-cycle phases from requirements gathering through implementation.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams on software integration.
• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React JS and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Implement Micro Frontend architecture for enterprise solutions and integrate backend services through Node JS and RESTful APIs.
