React JS Developer

About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a React JS Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on frontend development in partnership with Product Owners, UX teams, and technical leads to produce high-quality software designs. The ideal candidate will contribute to existing test suites, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and adhere to release procedures within an enterprise environment.

Requirements

Over five years of strong experience on React JS
Experience in Multi-Threading, ORM libraries, and Web frameworks (Django/Flask)
UNIX programming and shell scripting
Good SQL experience with Relational database (Oracle) programming
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN)
Extensive experience with building APIs
Ability to communicate to a technical and non-technical audience
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Partner with Product Owners, UX team, and technical leads to produce software design and frontend development
Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
Work with the quality and support groups to adhere to the release procedures
Work with Business Analysts during the UAT phase and support the UAT
