About The Position

As a Technology Consultant 2, the React JS Developer contributes across the software development life cycle, from requirements elicitation and design discussions through implementation, testing, deployment support, and production issue resolution. The role includes documenting business requirements and design decisions, developing and integrating application features, reviewing and maintaining code, coordinating bug fixes, and preparing user training and support materials.

The position is part of Infosys Engineering, which focuses on product-centric value delivery, data-first engineering, and value-stream management. The team uses technologies including AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve delivery processes and accelerate time to market.

The developer will build scalable, high-performance enterprise web applications, with a focus on React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, REST API integration, and Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture in the Telecom OSS domain. The role also involves collaboration with architects, business analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional teams, as well as technical mentoring and maintaining development standards. Relocation and/or travel to the work or project location may be required. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in UI development and enterprise web application design.
• Strong expertise in React JS and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Working experience with React JS, Node JS, Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture, TypeScript, REST API integration, and Telecom OSS applications.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Experience implementing MFE architecture for large-scale enterprise solutions.
• Experience in the Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) domain.
• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Experience with backend integration using Node JS and RESTful APIs.
• Experience defining reusable UI components, design systems, and frontend architecture standards.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, and other GenAI tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native application deployment.
• Experience collaborating with architects, business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to independently analyze requirements, propose solutions, and guide development teams.
• Experience in code reviews, technical mentoring, and enforcing development best practices.
• Understanding of web application security, accessibility, and performance optimization techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements under guidance.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Code and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to facilitate transitions to new software applications.
• Help resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist similar projects.
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise web applications using React JS and related technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams; support software integration.
• Analyze requirements independently, propose solutions, and guide development teams.
• Provide technical mentoring and enforce development best practices.
