About The Position

The React Developer will work in Infosys’s Manufacturing unit, which develops digital solutions for clients in automotive, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing. In the assigned role of Technology Consultant 2, the position contributes across the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through implementation, testing, production support, and documentation. The role involves hands-on React development and integration of frontend applications with APIs and enterprise backend services. The developer collaborates with technical and cross-functional teams, supports software quality and system reliability, and helps users transition to new applications through training and documentation. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Strong hands-on expertise in ReactJS.
Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
Experience with component libraries and UI frameworks such as Angular Material, Material UI, Bootstrap, or equivalent.
Knowledge of state management such as NgRx, Redux, or Context API, and building reusable UI components or design systems.
Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise backend services using JSON, OAuth2, and JWT.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive specialty experience may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Nice To Haves

Working experience with cloud-hosted applications, preferably AWS, and cloud-native modernization programs.
Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
Experience supporting applications with a large enterprise user base.
Exposure to Node.js, micro-frontends, modern build tooling, containerized deployments, and frontend architecture modernization.
Experience in automotive, retail, dealer, customer experience, or similarly complex enterprise domains.
Strong troubleshooting, estimation, stakeholder management, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with offshore time zones across the United States.

Responsibilities

Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation, following provided guidance.
Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
Code and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
Conduct code reviews, modify the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support transitions to new software applications.
Participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for the knowledge base and related projects.
Handle software development lifecycle phases from requirements gathering through implementation.
Translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
Work with cross-functional teams and support software integration.
