Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Statewide Financial Clearance leadership team in the role of RCS Manager. This position is responsible for leading Revenue Cycle operations for all assigned Revenue Cycle Services teams. Provides departmental administrative decision making, leadership, and strategic planning, including the efficient and productive use of personnel and other financial resources. Ensures high quality standardized work processes that result in consistent outcomes that compare favorably with relevant national benchmarks. The incumbent must possess strong subject matter expertise and leadership in order to support a diverse and complex operating environment and span of control. This is a hybrid role reporting to our Shadeland Ave office with occasional onsite expectations. Candidates should possess previous leadership experience and a strong understanding of prior authorization, experience with infusion a plus.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of prior authorization.
  • Strong knowledge of business and reimbursement management.
  • At least three years of experience with hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of healthcare billing terminology concepts and processes.
  • Ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
  • High level of interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings.
  • Ability to organize and manage work to achieve performance expectations.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and develop team members.
  • Ability to manage within the confines of a budget.
  • Passionate commitment to continuous performance improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with infusion a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
