RBT For Nine Year Old Boy - (Mon-Fri 5-8 PM)
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated individuals to work as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs) providing 1-on-1 ABA therapy to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes. This role focuses on helping children build essential daily living skills, improve communication, foster independence, and boost confidence through play-based ABA techniques designed by a licensed BCBA. You will work consistently with the same children, supporting their progress in their natural environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your patience, energy, and creativity can create a lasting difference. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- ABA experience a plus.
- Weekend availability a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by a BCBA supervisor.
- Track progress during each session using a data system on a phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
