RBT For An 8 Year Old Boy (Mon-Fri 4:15-6:15)
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to an 8-year-old boy with autism in his home. This role offers flexible part-time hours, primarily in the afternoons and evenings, and is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income or current work schedule. As an RBT/BT, you will work directly with children diagnosed with autism or developmental delays, helping them develop essential life skills, improve communication, foster independence, and build confidence through play-based ABA therapy. You will consistently work with the same children, facilitating their progress in their natural environments. This is a hands-on, impactful position where your patience, energy, and creativity are valued. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on a phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
