RBT (Mon-Tue: 12-3, Wed-Thu: 1-3) 5 y/o BOY
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals, also known as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs), to work directly in the homes of families providing 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays. The role involves helping children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference. The position offers flexible part-time hours, primarily in the afternoons and evenings, making it a good fit for those looking to supplement income or fit around school or other job schedules. You will work consistently with the same children, helping them make progress in their everyday environments.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
- Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
