About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated individuals to work as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs) providing 1-on-1 ABA therapy to a 7-year-old boy with autism in his home in Mesa, AZ. This role offers flexible part-time hours, making it a great opportunity to supplement income from another job or school schedule. As an RBT/BT, you will directly support children with autism or developmental delays, helping them develop essential daily living skills, improve communication, foster independence, and build confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This is a hands-on, impactful position where your patience, energy, and creativity can create a lasting positive change in a child's life. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- ABA experience a plus.
- Weekend availability a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by a BCBA supervisor.
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on a phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
