About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes, providing 1-on-1 support through play-based ABA therapy. This role focuses on helping children build essential daily living skills, improve communication, foster independence, and boost confidence. You will work consistently with the same children, implementing treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA and tracking their progress. This is a hands-on, impactful position where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a significant difference in a child's life. The agency provides training and support to ensure you can meet each child's unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

- ABA experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
- Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
