About The Position

Perform duties related to pumping incoming raw milk or cream from tanker trucks into the proper storage tanks. Document and record the volume received into inventory, with a strong emphasis on product quality. The listed duties describe the general nature and level of work and are not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP on each tanker and silo and maintain documentation of each process.
• Gather raw milk samples from tankers for product testing.
• Weigh tankers on scales, check milk temperature, and record weight and temperature readings.
• Immediately report food safety or food quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with applicable state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
