About The Position

Perform duties related to pumping incoming raw milk or cream from tanker trucks into the appropriate storage tanks. Document and record volumes in inventory, with a strong emphasis on the quality of the product received. The role also involves cleaning-in-place (CIP) processes, sampling, weighing tankers, checking and recording product temperatures, and maintaining accurate documentation. Employees must follow applicable health and safety regulations and company requirements for good manufacturing practices, food safety, quality, and sanitation. Other duties may be assigned as required.

• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pump incoming raw milk or cream from tanker trucks into the proper storage tanks.
• Document and record received volumes in inventory.
• Perform CIP on each tanker and silo and maintain proper documentation of each process.
• Gather raw milk samples from tankers for product testing.
• Weigh tankers on scales.
• Check milk temperature and record the weight and temperature readings.
• Immediately report food safety or food quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA good manufacturing practices and corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
