About The Position

Marvin Composites is hiring a Raw Materials Associate at its Fargo, North Dakota location. The role supports manufacturing by preparing raw materials, measuring them to specifications, documenting results, and ensuring production has the materials needed to operate smoothly. Marvin Composites manufactures fiberglass composite materials used in Marvin windows and doors. The facility is air-conditioned, and the company offers cross-training and a skill advancement program to support employee growth. The schedule is 6:30 AM–6:45 PM. Week 1 is 36 hours: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Week 2 is 48 hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Employees work seven of every 14 days and have a three-day weekend every other week. The base hourly rate is $22.10, with stated pay potential of $25.06 per hour including a $4.00 weekend premium and overtime. The position requires the ability to work a 12-hour shift and handle production materials. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to stand and work for a 12-hour shift.
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing between 10 and 50 pounds.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing time effectively.
Basic math skills.
General computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform quality tests, measure materials, and document results, proactively addressing materials issues to meet standards.
Apply mathematical knowledge to estimate the amount of materials needed for production activities.
Use specialized equipment to prepare raw materials to specification.
Deliver materials in a timely manner to keep production running efficiently.
Work collaboratively and provide customer service and support.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workspace.
