About The Position

The Raw Materials Coordinator tracks raw material inventories, orders and receives materials, and schedules deliveries to support plant production usage, adjusting plans as needed. The position reports to the Process Engineer and is based in Covington, Georgia. Daily work includes verifying inventories, updating the resin tracker and extrusion RPP target, communicating inventory levels with plant leadership, and reviewing prior-day resin consumption for potential concerns. The coordinator works with SUM to ensure material blends and usage rates align with targets and line conditions, and reviews production schedules and order and delivery schedules for resin, blowing agents, and film, making changes when necessary. Weekly responsibilities include reviewing the strategic raw materials plan with the Extrusion Unit Manager, maintaining the resin tracker, checking and filing Bills of Lading, and conducting full raw-material and non-poly inventory.
