About The Position

STEICO Industries is seeking a Raw Inventory Operator for the AM shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This role is responsible for receiving products, unboxing and inspecting raw materials, and maintaining material traceability. The company is a precision tube and duct assembly manufacturer for major airframe manufacturers and is part of the Senior Plc group, a global manufacturing group.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, easily understood manner
  • English verbal and written skills
  • Ability to wear special PPE required for the job (safety glasses)
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking, product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.)
  • Forklift certification through Steico
  • Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year in a warehouse environment
  • Basic math skills to perform basic calculations such as addition and subtraction
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes and use of hand tools

Nice To Haves

  • ERP experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Receiving products, unboxing and inspecting raw materials
  • Reviewing the open order report and prioritizing receipts of incoming materials
  • Unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space
  • Receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments of raw material in the ERP System
  • Maintaining material traceability throughout the process
  • Putting away prepaid consigned materials
  • Inventory Management, including bin changes and auditing materials to ensure system integrity
  • Safely operating a forklift to move raw materials
  • Coordinating recycling efforts with internal departments and external vendors for cardboard and metals
  • Loading and stacking empty crates and/or pallets on a trailer for recycling
  • Handling material rejections during delivery or work in progress
  • Supporting onsite TW material audits
  • Performing other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
