Requirements
- Strong foundation in attention to detail and organization
- Observant for inspecting raw materials and ensuring they meet quality standards
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and relay important information regarding ingredient status and any issues that may arise
- Proactive attitude toward problem-solving
- Commitment to safety practices
- Willingness to learn about industry regulations
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at times
Responsibilities
- Chip frozen meat blocks apart
- Run Meat Blocks through meat processing equipment
- Mix ingredients together
- Add oils as needed per customer specifications
- Clean Meat Room equipment throughout shift and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards
- Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner
- Use forklift to unload shipments into freezer and stage product for processing when needed
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing raw ingredients while ensuring adherence to quality and safety protocols
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise and maintain an organized workplace
- Operating machinery
- Conducting inventory checks
- Collaborating with various departments to meet production goals
- Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
