About The Position

Join Barrett Petfood as a Full Time Raw Ingredient Associate in Little Falls, Minnesota, where you will contribute to a customer-centric mission and innovative product development within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This onsite role involves working alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced, hands-on setting, with a work schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing raw ingredients, ensuring adherence to quality and safety protocols. The role also involves operating machinery, conducting inventory checks, collaborating with various departments, and engaging in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to support high-quality pet food production. Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store raw ingredients
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise and maintain an organized workplace
  • Operate machinery
  • Conduct inventory checks
  • Collaborate with various departments to meet production goals
  • Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Chip frozen meat blocks apart
  • Run Meat Blocks through meat processing equipment
  • Mix ingredients together
  • Add oils as needed per customer specifications
  • Clean Meat Room equipment throughout shift and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards
  • Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner
  • Use forklift to unload shipments into freezer and stage product for processing when needed
