About The Position

Responsible for protecting revenue by applying expertise in rate and division processes, and railway accounting rules to analyze systems, resolve billing issues, and investigate customer accounting matters. This position requires union membership and involves analyzing and managing rating, division, and Interline Settlement System (ISS) queues and reports to ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting and industry rules, and revenue protection. It also involves professional communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve revenue protection issues, investigation and resolution of customer accounting files and claims, and troubleshooting repetitive waybilling and freight billing issues.

Requirements

2 years of experience with invoicing or billing
MS Excel/Spreadsheets
MS Outlook
MS Word/Word Processing
Ability to type 40 Words Per Minute
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities

Responsibilities
