Rapid Rehousing Specialist
About The Position
Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership. This position partners with individuals and families who are experiencing street or shelter homeless to identify resources, services and opportunities while supporting them in overcoming barriers and setting goals to obtain and maintain housing. The role responds to daily calls regarding housing crisis, assesses needs, and manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance agreements, multi-system documentation, as well as program standards.
Requirements

- Proficient in Computer skills/ usage
- Customer service experience
- Licensed driver and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals and families to secure and maintain housing
- Partner with families to create pathways to self-sufficiency and make appropriate referrals
- Maintain regular contact with customers as well as accurate/ timely documentation
- Collaborate with Brighton Center team and community partners to best serve customers
- Maintain program compliance requirements and customer documentation in multiple databases.
