About The Position

American Ranch in Prescott, Arizona, is hiring a part-time Ranch / Stable Hand. The position involves caring for horses and supporting equestrian and facility operations. It is not an equine training position. Housing is not available. Candidates must be willing to work in all weather conditions and as part of a team. Job duties may be modified if necessary.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Horse experience preferred; at a minimum, livestock experience is required.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 or more pounds.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while handling routine interruptions.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Clean stalls and bed down horses.
• Water and feed horses.
• Provide horse care.
• Perform basic maintenance and landscaping.
• Complete repairs and other tasks associated with equestrian and facilities care.
• Maintain a positive image of the company and provide strong customer service.
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and help team members when needed.
