As Manager of Operations, you are ultimately responsible for the execution of activities at the OCC. This includes implementing personnel policy, holding performance and assessment interviews, and guiding staff in the event of absenteeism due to illness. You are also the point of contact on behalf of the management team for internal and external customers regarding operational problems and the progress of processes. The correct and safe use of equipment and materials is a top priority, and you ensure that this is complied with. You will implement personnel policy, ensuring optimal personnel planning depending on the workload, deciding on hiring temporary workers, arranging employees not on a roster, and announcing overtime. You will be the point of contact for internal and external customers, responsible for drawing up damage reports for freight and materials, and providing correct daily reporting of service progress, staff deployment, materials, and special features. You will ensure compliance with agreements regarding work instructions, leave, and working and rest times, submit proposals for efficient operation, and guarantee quality and compliance with agreed SLAs.
