About The Position

The Ramp Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of semiconductor equipment ramp activities from installation through customer qualification and transition to high-volume manufacturing. This role serves as the central point of coordination across engineering, field service, manufacturing, business units, and customer teams to ensure ramp milestones, schedules, and business objectives are achieved. Success in this role requires strong program management, execution discipline, stakeholder alignment, and risk management skills in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, operations, manufacturing, engineering project management, or semiconductor equipment environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience managing schedules, action-item tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive execution and accountability across teams without direct authority.
  • Experience working in customer-facing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment, process engineering, or fab operations.
  • Experience supporting fab startups, technology transitions, or production ramp programs.
  • Familiarity with equipment qualification, installation, or manufacturing readiness processes.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, or related project/program management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain ramp execution plans, schedules, milestones, and readiness trackers for assigned programs.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to business objectives and customer commitments.
  • Lead daily and weekly execution reviews to track progress, remove roadblocks, and drive accountability.
  • Establish clear ownership, priorities, and timelines across all ramp-related activities.
  • Lead startup readiness and pre-flight reviews to ensure all requirements are completed prior to tool installation, startup, and qualification.
  • Coordinate resource planning and execution activities to support customer schedules and commitments.
  • Drive closure of open action items and readiness gaps.
  • Identify schedule, resource, technical, and operational risks that may impact ramp success.
  • Facilitate development and execution of mitigation plans with functional owners.
  • Serve as the site-level escalation coordinator, ensuring issues are communicated, tracked, and resolved efficiently.
  • Provide clear status updates and executive visibility for critical issues and recovery plans.
  • Build alignment among customer teams, field organizations, engineering groups, manufacturing partners, and business unit stakeholders.
  • Facilitate decision-making by bringing together the right stakeholders and ensuring timely resolution of open topics.
  • Drive communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Maintain accurate project metrics, reporting, and dashboards to provide visibility into ramp execution and resource utilization.
  • Manage documentation deliverables, startup summaries, and project reviews.
  • Lead lessons-learned activities and implement improvements to enhance future ramp execution and operational efficiency.
