About The Position

Snowflake is seeking AI-native thinkers to power the era of the agentic enterprise. This role is for a Manager, Technical Program Management within the Security organization. Security at Snowflake encompasses Product Security, Database Security, Threat Detection, and Penetration Testing, focusing on protecting sensitive data on Snowflake's platform. The position involves leading a team of Technical Program Managers who drive programs to ensure the platform's security at scale, while also managing and developing TPM talent. Requirements

  • 6+ years of technical program management experience
  • 2+ years directly managing TPMs or a similar technical team
  • Experience running security, compliance, or trust & safety programs at a cloud software or infrastructure company
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with security engineers and architects on technically complex initiatives (e.g., threat modeling programs, compliance certifications, vulnerability remediation programs)
  • Strong track record of building and coaching high-performing TPM or program management teams
  • Excellent executive communication skills — comfortable presenting program risk and status to senior security and engineering leadership
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment where priorities shift based on emerging threats or compliance deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Program Managers embedded across Security engineering (Product Security, Database Security, Threat Detection, and related functions)
  • Own the operating rhythm for security program delivery — driving planning, execution, and risk visibility across multiple concurrent security initiatives
  • Partner directly with Security Engineering leadership, Legal, Compliance, and Product to align program priorities with the company's security and compliance posture
  • Represent security program health and risk to senior leadership with clear, data-driven updates — translating technical complexity into business impact
  • Coach your TPMs on structuring ambiguous security programs, driving cross-team alignment, and building trust with security engineers and stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve organizational friction points affecting how security programs are planned and delivered — building lightweight, scalable processes
  • Hold the team accountable for program outcomes while fostering a culture of ownership, technical rigor, and continuous improvement
