Naval Systems & Sustainment, a sub strategic business unit within Naval Power, seeking a Guided Missile Round Pack (GMRP) Production Program Manager for the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) program. The RAM program is a fast-paced and complex US-German cooperative program, which is highly visible within both Raytheon and the US Navy (USN). The GMRP Production Program Manager reports directly to the RAM Program Director. The RAM GMRP Production Program Manager will be responsible for execution and cost performance of multiple US Navy production contracts (including Foreign Military Sales (FMS)) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS)) as prime contractor in parallel with execution of RAMSYS-prime German Navy and RAMSYS-prime DCS contracts as a sub-contractor. This role requires experience in Production Program Management. The GMRP Production Manger will lead cross-functional teams, manage a complex program and supply base, and ensure clear communication of goals, decisions, and results to teams, customers, and senior leadership. This role will require an individual to maintain and continue to strengthen our customer and industrial partner relationships while supporting the RAM team’s strong culture of urgency and accountability. This is an onsite position at our Tucson, AZ facility.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Production Program/Project Management Experience
  • Prior leadership/management experience
  • Prior experience interfacing with customers, suppliers, and the internal customer/team
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
  • Secret - Current Security Clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EACs, BSEC/financial metrics, and demonstrated ability to forecast and manage financials, and proficiency with tools used for Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality
  • Program/Project Management Level 5 or equivalent (or ability to obtain certification within a year)
  • Experience with ITAR and Commercial licensing processes, as well as domestic and international shipping
  • Leadership experience using Lean/Agile methods to enable the development of capabilities in an iterative fashion.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic program
  • Proven experience solving challenging technical problems in a production environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of the RAM GMRP Production program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while successfully maintaining on-time delivery of contractual items and managing cost performance across the contracts.
  • Lead the flawless execution of production efforts, meeting or exceeding all contract deliverables, performance metrics, and customer expectations.
  • Partner supply chain, operations, engineering, contracts, and finance to deliver on AOP commitments and margin expansion.
  • Interface with multiple US and German government and industry counterparts as well as US and foreign suppliers and partners, fostering trust and ensuring alignment on program objectives.
  • Support strategy for GMRP production proposals for domestic and international growth opportunities, ensuring the long-term success of the RAM portfolio.
  • Responsible for P&L, AOP and financial metrics for all RAM GMRP Firm Fixed Price contracts
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation to ensure program stability and success.
  • Maintain and continuously grow a strong cross-functional team
  • Ability to travel Domestically and Internationally.
