The RAISED Coordinator will meet group coordinators/hosts prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure all arrangements are agreeable. This role involves reading and analyzing banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine proper setup, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. The coordinator will respond to and attempt to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements and follow up to ensure compliance. This position also requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and completing safety training. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and upholding confidentiality are essential. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, and thanking guests with appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is necessary, as is developing and maintaining positive working relationships and supporting team goals. The coordinator must ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, read and visually verify information, and inspect tools and equipment. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. The role may also involve moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, traversing sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and using stairs or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also part of the job duties. Other reasonable duties may be requested by supervisors.
