The Rail Logistics Coordinator optimizes the execution of rail and truck shipments into and out of a vertically integrated oilseeds processing facility. The role supports customer service and business needs while maintaining a focus on safety and sustainability. The position works with commercial, operations, sales, laboratory, customer, and freight-provider teams, and exercises judgment within established parameters to make logistics decisions and assess risk. It supervises no employees. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Science, or Logistics, and at least three years of relevant experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, at least five years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or customs clearance of food-grade products is required. Domestic travel to visit customers may be required, up to 30% at times. The work is primarily in a climate-controlled office, with periodic visits to industrial operations areas. Regular hours may occasionally be extended to 50–60 hours per week for time-sensitive projects or emergencies, and some weekend work is required.
