Radiology Vein Services - Full-Time PA/NP
About The Position
This is a full-time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner position within the Radiology Vein Services department. The role involves patient evaluation, discussing treatment plans, interacting with patients and referring physicians, and gaining competence with office-based procedures. The position is located in Clemmons, NC, with a secondary location in Winston Salem, NC. The applicant will work closely with the attending physician, Dr. Regan, and will receive training with the goal of functioning independently. The work environment is an outpatient vein clinic with a high procedural volume, serving both symptomatic and cosmetic patients, within a small, efficient staff with a strong team orientation.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Current applicable state Medical Board Medical License
- Certified by NCCPA
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred
- Ultrasound and sclerotherapy experience are desirable but not required
- Experience with vascular assessment and management desirable but not required
Responsibilities
- Patient evaluation
- Discuss treatment plans with patients
- Interact with patients and referring physicians
- Gain competence with office-based procedures including sclerotherapy, michrophlebectomy and duplex evaluation
- Work closely with the attending physician (Dr. Regan)
