About The Position

Trillium Health Partners is one of Canada’s largest community-based teaching hospitals, serving the growing and diverse populations of Mississauga, West Toronto, and surrounding communities. This position is for a Radiology Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging Program, specifically for X-ray procedures. The role involves performing all types of radiography procedures, maintaining a safe working environment, participating in the evaluation of new equipment and procedures, collaborating with team members, and supporting a customer-focused environment. The position is temporary full-time for approximately 18 months and requires flexibility to work at all THP sites, potentially cross-training in other modalities. The hospital may change assigned work locations based on operational needs.

Requirements

Current C.M.R.I.T.O. & C.A.M.R.T. Registration, in good standing
Strong organizational skills combined with strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated excellent patient care skills with strong team approach attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to provide excellent customer service
Positive work and attendance record is essential

Nice To Haves

Previous experience and expertise in all areas of General Radiography preferred

Responsibilities

Ability to perform all types of radiography procedures and proficient working knowledge of all aspects of all relevant general radiography equipment
Maintains a safe working environment for co-workers, patients and visitors
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment and procedures as required
Collaborate with other diagnostic imaging team members to optimize use of available resources
Support a customer-focused environment
Other duties as required
