About The Position

Join UPMC Travel Staffing as a full-time Diagnostic Technologist supporting patients across southwest Pennsylvania. This role offers exciting travel opportunities within the UPMC system, allowing you to work at various hospitals every six weeks. You will encounter diverse caseloads and patient populations, helping you build a broad professional network. Requirements

Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Two years of diagnostic experience required.
Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on the most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.

Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using established protocols/procedures without requiring constant supervision.
Utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data, completing procedures according to protocol.
Demonstrate the ability to function independently, cover off shifts, handle on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, while continually communicating with the lead and management team.
Perform or assist Clinical Specialists in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
