About The Position
The Radiology Technologist I position is a full-time role located in Highland Park. This position involves preparing patients for exams, performing radiographic exams, reviewing radiographs for quality, and submitting information and images to the RIS. The role requires flexibility in hours and may involve travel to Gurnee and Vernon Hills.
Requirements
- Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
- CPR certification required
- ARRT registry eligible required within 1 year of employment
- IEMA licensing required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
Nice To Haves
- Previous radiology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
- Perform radiographic exams
- Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
- Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
