About The Position

Provides quality radiographic imaging, including fluoroscopy, for patients of all age groups under the general direction of a physician while ensuring ALARA principles are followed. Participates in department quality-improvement processes to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Depending on departmental business needs, supports patient workflow through duties such as front desk work, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, patient intake, and other duties within the scope of practice. The estimated pay range is $28.27–$36.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist license or certification.
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography certification, or eligibility for ARRT Radiography certification.
• Change agility and flexibility.
• Minimum required experience: less than one year.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Depending on departmental needs, competency in vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, and front desk duties such as quick registration may be required.
