About The Position
Performs technical procedures involving ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, operates equipment used to expose x-ray film, and develops and organizes films. The position is with HCA Florida Vero Beach Emergency, which provides emergency treatment for adults and children.
Requirements
- Florida Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) license.
- Registered Radiographer certification (ARRT (R)).
Responsibilities
- Perform technical procedures using ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards.
- Administer intravenous diagnostic contrast agents.
- Regulate equipment used to expose x-ray film.
- Develop and organize films.
