About The Position

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is hiring a PRN Ultrasound Technologist for its ChampionsGate FSED location. The role is scheduled on Sundays. The technologist provides sonography services to patients and physicians by creating diagnostic images appropriate to diverse patient populations. The role is responsible for meeting established standards of practice and patient care, managing supplies and equipment, and coordinating work with all members of the health care team.

Requirements

• Vocational school graduate.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Hold one of the listed credentials: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), RDMS Abdomen Specialty (RDMS-AB), RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology (RDMS-OB/GYN), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT).

Responsibilities

• Create diagnostic images for patients and physicians appropriate to diverse patient populations.
• Meet established standards of practice and patient care.
• Manage supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate work with all members of the health care team.
