About The Position

The Radiology Technologist independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures according to established standards of medical care, policies, and protocols. The technologist uses appropriate anatomical positioning and knowledge of physiology to produce optimum images while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort. The role also supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance. This position is in Diagnostic Radiology at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri. It is scheduled for 36 hours per week on the night shift. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, front-loaded paid time off, relocation assistance, and a career ladder.

Requirements

Graduate of an ARRT-accredited School of Radiological Technology.
ARRT-R certification must be obtained before the start date.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
Proficiency using computers and computer systems.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
1–2 years of related experience.
