About The Position

The Radiology Technologist performs radiology procedures independently or under the direct supervision of a physician, following established standards of medical care, policies, and protocols. The role uses established anatomical positioning and knowledge of physiology to produce optimum images while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort. The technologist also supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.

This position is in Diagnostic Radiology at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri. It is a weekend-option day-shift role scheduled for 24 hours per week, with listed hours of 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000, up to 40 hours of front-loaded paid time off, a relocation bonus of up to $3,000, and a career ladder of up to $5,000.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited School of Radiological Technology.
• ARRT-R must be obtained before the start date.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
• Proficiency using computers and computer systems.
• Excellent time-management, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• One to two years of related experience.
