About The Position

The Radiology Technologist performs radiology procedures independently or under the direct supervision of a physician, consistent with established standards of medical care in radiology. The technologist follows policies and protocols and uses established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort. The role also supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance. This position is in Diagnostic Radiology at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri. It is scheduled for 24 hours per week, with hours from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM on the day shift. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000, up to 40 hours of front-loaded paid time off, a relocation bonus of up to $3,000, and a career ladder of up to $5,000. Benefits are available to employees working 20 or more hours per week.

Requirements

Graduate of an ARRT-accredited School of Radiological Technology.
Obtain ARRT-R prior to the start date.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
Proficiency using computers and computer systems.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
One to two years of related experience.
