Requirements

  • Education that meets certification, licensure, or registration requirements for Radiologic Technology.
  • Active Oregon Radiographer License upon hire or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification within 180 days of hire.
  • New graduates must possess an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Temporary License and obtain a permanent Oregon Radiographer License within 180 days of hire.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and imaging quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous clinical experience in radiology through employment or clinical rotations.
  • Experience working with digital radiography equipment and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and quality assurance practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment.
