About The Position

High Lakes Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to join their team in Bend, Oregon. This role offers a predictable schedule, working two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no mandatory call, nights, or weekends. Optional weekend call is available for additional hours. The position is compensated for an urgent care setting, focusing on lower stress and a better schedule, without the intensity of trauma cases or complex on-call obligations. This role is ideal for an experienced tech seeking work-life balance, a working parent or caregiver needing a predictable daytime schedule, a new ARRT graduate looking to build confidence in a supportive environment, or a semi-retired tech wanting to stay active in the field.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements

Nice To Haves

Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
Work closely with providers to deliver results efficiently and with care.
Perform and position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion.
Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner.
Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment.
Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines.
Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language.
