About The Position

High Lakes Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to join their team in Bend, Oregon. This role offers a predictable schedule, working two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no mandatory call, nights, or weekends. Optional weekend call is available for additional hours. The position is compensated for an urgent care setting, focusing on lower stress and a better schedule, without the intensity of trauma cases or complex on-call obligations. This role is ideal for an experienced tech seeking work-life balance, a working parent or caregiver needing a predictable daytime schedule, a new ARRT graduate looking to build confidence in a supportive environment, or a semi-retired tech wanting to stay active in the field.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
  • Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
  • Work closely with providers to deliver results efficiently and with care.
  • Perform and position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion.
  • Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment.
  • Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines.
  • Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language.
