About The Position

High Lakes Urgent Care in Bend, Oregon is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to work two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This role offers a predictable, daytime-only schedule with no mandatory call, nights, or weekends. Optional weekend call is available for additional hours. The position is compensated for an urgent care setting, emphasizing a lower-stress environment with a better schedule compared to hospital settings. It is ideal for experienced techs tired of rotating shifts, working parents needing predictability, new ARRT graduates seeking a supportive environment, or semi-retired techs wanting to stay active in the field.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
• Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements

Nice To Haves

• Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Work closely with providers to deliver results efficiently and with care.
• Perform and position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion.
• Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment.
• Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language.
